Music Admission Exam for Bachelor Degree

Prerequisite to submit the application for any Bachelor degree course of Conservatory is to hold a high school diploma. The admission depends on the entrance exam results and the assessment of the candidate’s previous musical education. Entrance exam is articulated in a main subject audition, an Italian language test at level B2 (for international students only) and up to four Fundamental subjects tests. Depending on the outcome of the main subject test, a single integrated ranking list of eligible candidates for academic and preparatory courses will be drawn up. Enrollment will follow the order of the ranking list, depending on availability for each Course. Candidates who successfully pass their main subject examinations and auditions are also required to take entrance exams in four fundamental subjects: Sight Reading and Ear Training, Harmony and Analysis, Music History, and Piano Practice. International students who successfully pass their main subjects examinations and auditions are required to take an Italian Language test.

Music Admission Exam for Master Degree

To qualify for admission into the Master degree, students must have already completed or otherwise meet the following requirements:-either a Bachelor’s degree, or a Conservatory diploma plus a High school diploma, or any first level academic degree which can be validated as equivalent;-applicants must be able to show adequate musical and technical skills required by the relevant Master degree course. To face an interview which will focus on the course(s)already attended, as well as on any professional orientations and perspectives already emerged during the last years of study and training, with particular reference to course related field-specific interests.
