Italy is a very popular destination for medical studies due to its modern approach and use of some of the latest technologies. These degree courses provide a solid scientific grounding for the theoretic and practical knowledge mandatory to practice medicine.  The basic disciplines are common to all degree courses in medicine and surgery. Studies will cover subjects of the mathematical, physical, biological area and above all medical ones (such as physiology, cardiology, neurology). The course will provide theoretical knowledge which will be paired with practical skills. Aspiring doctors will train the ability to analyze, evaluate and resolve health problems, identifying prognosis, diagnosis and possible therapy. They will be able to identify and interpret pathology transmission mechanisms. They will understand the biomedical phenomena in living organisms, the biochemical, molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate pathophysiological processes. The MD degree obtained is European and allows students to specialize and practice in Europe and studies are recognized in UK and USA as well.
