Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings including more than 1.400 univeristies worldwide. It is often considered as one of the most widely observed university rankings. Criteria:

  • International Outlook (2,5%)
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as Shanghai Ranking, is an annual publication by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy and is regarded as one of the three most influential and widely observed university rankings. Criteria:
  • Quality of Education (10%)
  • Quality of Faculty (40%)
  • Research Output (40%)
  • Per Capita Performance (10%)
The Centro Studi Investimenti Sociali (CENSIS) is a socioeconomic research Institute. The annual ranking of Italian Universties is considered the most qualified and complete tool of analysis  for Italian academic reality. Criteria:

Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del sistema Universitario e della Ricerca (ANVUR) deals with the evaluation of the activity of Italian Universities. This Institution evaluates the quality of the processes, the results and products of management activities, teaching and research, including technological transfer of Universities and Research Institutes under MIUR supervision.
