Music STUDIES

Music is part of Italy’s national and cultural identity. Classical Opera was born in Italy and the language of music speaks Italian! The conservatory of music is a university-level music school whose academic areas are organized in different sectors: executive (singing and instruments), composing, conducting, choir conducting, classical music, jazz, and electronic music.  The purpose of this school is the training of professionals such as singers, instrumentalists, composers, conductors and sound engineers. The conservatory is a real university divided into a three-year bachelor course (which requires the achievement of 180 training credits) and a subsequent two-year specializing master course (which instead requires 120 credits). Having a good awareness of the topics concerning the admission test is very important. To be able to enroll in a music conservatory, it is necessary to pass music theoretical tests and it is mandatory to have a good musical knowledge and a good command of a musical instrument to be accepted.
